It’s that time of the year again, so pack your picnic baskets, gather your family and friends and head over to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens for an evening of musical delight.
Sip on a glass of wine, enjoy the breathtaking views and as the sun slips behind the mountain the evening will come alive with the sound of South Africa’s most fantastic musicians. The Old Mutual Summer Sunset Concerts caters for all ages and comes in all sounds, from rock, pop and folk to acoustic and jazz; from Prime Circle, Mango Groove and Freshlyground to the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra, Goldfish, Micasa, Matthew Mole and many more – there’s something for everyone – I can’t imagine you’d have anything better to do on a Sunday evening.
The Concert Series kicks off on 22 November 2015 and will run every Sunday evening until 3 April 2016.
Tickets are priced between R80 and R175 and can be purchased online HERE or at the Kirstenbosch Visitors’ Centre Ticket Office on the Tuesday preceding the event. Concert tickets are limited, so if the event is sold out, garden entry tickets will be available allowing you to picnic on the lawns just outside the cordoned-off concert area.
Pick a show, pick a date, whatever or however you want – just be there!
