With five successful studio albums under their belt, numerous awards and a growing international fanbase, it’s no surprise that front man Ross Learmonth has become one of the most recognisable voices in South African Rock. Prime Circle have shown a longevity that few South African bands have achieved. Truth be told, any band that can survive an unforgiving music industry for 13 years and still be going strong, deserves the all credit that such a noteworthy achievement bears.
The band had been under the radar for a little while, but only because they were hard at work and have now emerged with their sixth studio album to prove it. Let The Night In is also their first independently released album.
And what’s a band to do after releasing a sixth studio album? Tour, obviously! Prime Circle will be embarking on a 30-stop tour all the way from South Africa to Amsterdam, France, Spain, United Kingdom and Germany – their biggest tour yet.
Catch them in Cape Town on 9 August to experience the new album in a live setting.
